TDF Student Showcase 2025 Early Info

The showcase is an exciting opportunity for our dancers, who have worked so hard throughout the year, to present what they have learned on the stage and have a well deserved moment in the spotlight! A detailed “recital handbook” will be provided as we get closer to the show, giving you all the info you will need. If your family is unable to participate in any or all of your dance routines, you must notify us by filling out a “Showcase Opt-Out Form” (found on the TDF website) by March 15, 2025 to avoid associated fees. Teachers will begin choreography in March or April. Non-participating students may continue and are encouraged to attend classes, learning and perfecting a routine is still beneficial to their training.

In order to give the stars of our show as much stage time as possible we will be holding 2 separate shows

The Junior Showcase will include ProtoTykes and Level 1 classes
The Main Showcase will include Level 2-5 classes

Dates to put on your calendar

March 1: Enrollment closes for levels 2-5
March 15: Last day to notify us if you are not participating in the show for all or some of your classes (opt-out form can be found at www.truckeedancefactory.com)
April 1: Showcase Participation Fee will be charged ($30/student OR $50/family)
April 1: Enrollment closes for ProtoTykes and Level 1 Classes
May 1: Costume fees due. Typically costume fees are between $40-$65 per class.
May 18: Online ticketing opens on our website (www.truckeedancefactory.com)
June 9-13: Extra all cast rehearsals for the show
June 14 & 15: Dress rehearsal and performances

Rehearsals Dates and Info

We will hold several days of rehearsals leading up to the show at the studio on June 9-13. Dancer’s class schedules will change this week for the special rehearsals. There will also be a mandatory on-stage rehearsal at the theater on June 14 for the Main Showcase. More info will be made available, including a specific rehearsal schedule for each class, as we get closer.

*The Main Showcase will perform twice. Please be sure you can commit to BOTH days if you plan to participate. Performers will not be allowed to do just one of the two performances. Dancers in the Junior Showcase will just have 1 performance, on June 15th.
