Join us for Toy Box Hip Hop Camp, an exciting and energetic summer camp designed for kids ages 4-6! Throughout the week, campers will explore the world of hip-hop through fun dance routines, basic tumbling, creative crafts, interactive games, and thrilling obstacle courses. Each day is packed with movement, laughter, and imaginative play, all leading up to a special performance for parents on the last day. Get ready to dance your way through a magical adventure straight out of the toy box!

Campers will be split by age and level as they rotate through classes in aerial fabrics, acrobatics, tumbling, dance and more! And don’t worry, we didn’t forget the outdoor/beach time with a day at Donner Lake! Various teachers will share their knowledge and passion in their area of expertise. Challenge your mind and body in a new way all while having a ton of fun! This popular camp has sold out in the past so we are offering this camp twice. ​​

Students that attend this camp will have a ton of fun learning hip hop and breaking moves, playing games, doing crafts, learning choreography and freestyle techniques. Immerse yourself in a week of hip hop and hone your skills. Be the envy of every dance party you go to! There will be a performance on the last day of camp.

Adv. Ballet
Pre-Point/Point and PBT Intensive

This camp is for dancers aiming to improve their pointe technique and for those preparing for their first pair of pointe shoes. Our intensive offers a daily blend of classical ballet technique, pre-pointe and pointe classes, and the artistry of learning variations. Dive deeper into movement with specialized Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) sessions, focusing on muscle strengthening for dance. Embrace proper body alignment and foot strengthening exercises for a holistic approach to elevate your dance journey.
*This camp is for dancers who are in Ballet level 4/5 at TDF. If you take your dance classes elsewhere please contact us for a level recommendation.
Intermediate Ballet and PBT Intensive

Step into a summer of dance exploration tailored for intermediate-level dancers eager to refine their skills and artistry. Our camp offers a daily immersion into classical ballet technique, including barre and center exercises, plus learning variations from famous ballets. The week will also include specialized Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) sessions dedicated to enhancing muscle strength for dance at the intermediate level. Move your dance technique forward this summer!

Inspire Dance Company
Choreography Camps
August 4-8, 2025

August 25-29, 2025
This camp is for members of the Inspire Dance Company to learn choreography for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. The first week of camp will be with guest choreographer Leslie Johnson. The second camp will be with TDF teachers and take place after school hours, specific times TBA. Dancers will be individually notified on which camps they will need to attend. Camp Policies, Cancelation Info and More

TuitionCamp tuition will be due at time of enrollment via auto draft from a credit card or bank account. Credit card or bank draft information must be submitted upon registration through our secure, online payment processing system. Tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance and will be charged regardless of students attendance. No refunds will be given for student absence.

Cancelations, Refunds, CreditsIn the event a student must cancel a camp enrollment, the parent or guardian must notify TDF by completing an electronic withdrawal form which can be found HERE. Withdrawal forms may not be supplanted by a verbal notification to a teacher or any staff member of TDF, neither over the phone or in person or any other way besides the electronic withdrawal form. Cancelations Made 60+ days prior to start of camp date will receive a full refund (minus 10% for online processing fees and admin costs) Cancelations Made 15-59 days prior to start of camp date will receive a full credit for future camp or class tuition Cancelations Made 2 weeks or less prior to start of camp date will not receive a refund or credit unless we are able to fill the spot.

Mandated Shutdowns or Severe Weather Days​Government Mandated Shutdown: In the event of a required closure mandated by a governmental agency or body during the dates of scheduled camps, TDF will provide full refunds. Severe Weather Cancellations: In the event TDF closes due to extreme weather conditions, a make up day will be provided. No refund or discounts will be given to tuition fees in response to canceled class based on severe weather. AQI/Smoke Days Policy: During Summer ’21 large nearby wildfires impacted air quality in our area. If AQI levels are 151 or higher at Truckee Dance Factory we will modify activities accordingly to protect campers, by keeping them indoors. Outdoor activities may be rescheduled or canceled to avoid exertion outside. Ultimately, the decision on whether or not to attend camps is up to each individual family, as you know what’s best for your child. Camp Make Up Policy: Due to limited class size for summer camps, no makeups for missed summer camp days will be permitted. No refunds or credits will be provided for camp absences.

Before and After CareCare of Students: TDF is not responsible for the care and safety of students before or after camp. It is understood that TDF will not be held responsible for supervision outside of camp hours. Young children are not to be left at the school for excessive time periods before or after camp.

Camp RulesChildren maintaining the highest standard of conduct is required at all times. Using profanity, disparaging dialogues, physical violence or threats during participation in camp is strictly prohibited. Camp rules and instructions of counselors and staff must be followed at all times. The directors reserve the right, at their discretion, to withdraw any camper whose influence or actions are deemed disrespectful, dangerous or who will not follow the rules and policies of the Camp. If this occurs, no reduction or return of fee, or any part thereof will be made.
